Nice Guy Episodes 6-10 Recap

OK. I love this drama so much *____* Episode 10 had such an EPIC twist at the end, it made me fall in love with the drama even more. I didn't expect the drama to have such a fast moving plot already! Although one thing I have to say about eps 9&10 is no more BADASS Eun Gi now ;_____;

RECAP EP 6-10
Eun Gi is totally in the love world but it's sad to think that Maru doesn't feel the same way about her and that he's only doing it because of Jae Hee. Returning home, Eun Gi is kicked out of the house by her father as she lost a lot of money by not selling the resort. And protecting the resort her mother's memories were in is a bad thing? Shame on you Chairman.

But anyway, more plot movement! :D
Eun Gi lives with Maru now. HOORAY. And we get these cute moments:

And who can forget Jae Gil and Choco?

Unfortunately, there's always something...
An ahjumma asks if Eun Gi can give something to Maru for her: a photoframe of Maru and Jae Hee. And FINALLY, it all gets revealed to Eun Gi that Jae Hee and Maru had some sort of connection in the past.

Despite all this, Eun Gi still likes Maru. And Maru obviously still likes Jae Hee. The two break up afterwards because Eun Gi has to accept reality and the way everything is. Meanwhile, Jae Hee sends some thugs to beat the crap out of Maru until he accepts the fact that he is not able to meet Eun Gi ever again.

Eun Gi is locked in her room for the time being, but being the badass she is, she runs away and meets Maru. *cue for confession time!* At least now, Maru is more aware of everything :D He even buys her shoes and a jacket for them to go on a vacation. Aww. Cute.

But obviously Jae Hee has to ruin it all and she fakes out that her brother had beaten her. Maru falls for it and runs over to help her. Though later on, he finds out that her brother wasn't even with her!

The Chairman passes away from the combined work of both Jae Hee and Min-Young. However, Joon Ha hears the whole conversation on the phone when the Chairman passed away. At least we have some evidence from a reliable witness. But Min Young realises. Damn. And tells Joon Ha to go ahead and report them, but if he does, he'll reveal to Eun Gi that Joon Ha's father directed the accident of Eun Gi's mother's death. You CRUEL people.

Meanwhile, Eun Gi finds out that her father passed away. Unfortunately Maru and Eun Gi are both in their cars at this point and they drive towards each other...

11 months later.

Eun Gi has been missing for 11 months during her hospital treatment. Jae Hee has become the President. Whilst Maru is a H.O.T guy completely different person with a different personality.

Jae Gil also starts falling for Choco a little even though he doesn't realise. Finally we get to see Eun Gi, who has lost her memory and has a different character also: innocent and vulnerable. The two meet after Maru hears his name being said as Eun Gi writes "Kang Ru Ma" in chalk on the wall- she doesn't know how to write after the accident.

Secretary Hyun explains to Maru that Eun Gi has lost her memory and she's been hiding Eun Gi away ever since so she's not in danger of Jae Hee. She also explains that she needs Maru in order to regain it back. But Maru coldly pushes it away saying that they don't know each other. But Eun Gi knows that he's lying because she feels something. She remembers him.

Jae Sik (Jae Hee's brother) spots Eun Gi and realises that she's the one that TaeSan group are looking for. He makes a deal with Min Young: he will make Eun Gi never able to return back to Taesan ever again IF Min Young gives him a huge amount of money. So Jae Sik is on his plan of kidnapping Eun Gi. He manages to steal her away from her house: waiting until Secretary Hyun leaves to go out and lying to Eun Gi that Maru sent him to look for her. He also gives her a drink in the car which has some drugs in to put her to sleep.

Luckily, Secretary Hyun realises that Eun Gi's missing and quickly goes to Maru's house as Eun Gi left a note saying that someone was taking her to Maru's house. Maru runs as quickly as he can to his car. At this point, I'm thinking: Maru- you're awesome! Maru manages to catch up with Jae Sik's car as he drives ahead of the car. Both cars having stopped, Eun Gi wakes up. But she looks glad to see Maru.

Nice Guy Episodes 1-5 Recap

Nice Guy/ There's No Such Thing As Nice Guys *cue for a drumroll* The whole plot about revenge makes me so excited. I love Joong Ki's acting in this drama- he fits his role as Kang Maru so much! It's strange to think he was the cute flower boy in Sungkyunkwan Scandal now, but I guess his amazing acting skills make it seem like that. Anyway, let's start with the summary recap of eps 1-5.

RECAP EP 1-5
Kang Maru, a medical student, comes home one day to his sister, Choco who is sick with a very high fever. When he's almost about to take her to the hospital, he gets a call from his noona, Han Jae Hee who is crying. Turns out that she has accidentally killed a man in a motel.

Thinking fast, Maru runs over to Jae Hee and he decides to save her life by acting as though he was the one who killed the man. So Maru gets put into prison.

Skipping forward to now: 6 years later, Maru is a spiritless man walking about; having multiple relationships with women, still living in his small house. Meanwhile, Jae Hee has gotten the better end of the stick and is living well, married to a rich man and has a son.

Seo Eun Gi- Jae Hee's husband's daughter from his previous wife- meets Maru whilst she's unwell on a plane. This is also the point where Maru and Jae Hee meet for the first time after the incident six years ago. Maru is shattered after the unexpected encounter. The poor guy always thought that his noona would be by his side one day, which is also the reason why he never moved out of his small house, just in case Jae Hee could never find him.

Jae Hee visits Maru's house, feeling bad for everything. Good thing she has a conscience. However, she finds out from Jae Gil, Maru's friend, that Maru is out with Choco to a doctor's visit. Jae Hee leaves Maru an envelope of money which is given to him by Jae Gil as Jae Hee leaves before Maru gets home.

Jae Hee gets into an argument with Eun Gi (which by the way, happens quite often since the two hate each other) about where the money she took out today went which results in Jae Hee lying that Maru blackmailed her asking her for money. Lady - why do you keep backstabbing Maru?

Which brings us to another awkward meeting between the two. Maru and Jae Hee just looking at each other silently at the police station as if they are talking to each other through their minds. Choco is taken to the hospital, as she ran out in the rain (which she's not supposed to do since she's sick) after her brother when he was being taken by the police.

Eun Gi and Maru meet again when both go motorcycling. Maru gets knocked off his bike when he doesn't notice a fallen tree trunk. On the other hand, Eun Gi's brakes don't respond and results in her almost crashing down a cliff. Luckily, Maru grabs her just in time. Once back on land, Eun Gi tries to get back her doll (which is a present her mother gave her before she died). Maru goes in her instead because he thinks it's dangerous. As he retrieves the doll and is about to climb back up, the rope he's attached to breaks sending him tumbling down.

Maru ends up with a broken rib and injured leg and Eun Gi can't take her mind off him. As he's discharged, Eun Gi finds out that he returned the gift she gave him. She finds him nearby his house but he's in no mood to mess about because Choco is in a situation. Eun Gi follows him in the car anyway. Overtime, Eun Gi starts falling for Maru. And we also find out Choco has a hidden crush on Jae Gil although Jae Gil has a girlfriend.

Due to some work, Eun Gi and Jae Hee are in Japan, both having things they need to do- Eun Gi: needing to find a way to get money without selling a resort which has her mother's memories and Jae Hee: selling the resort. Eun Gi works hard the entire day until very early in the morning and falls asleep outside. Whilst Maru manages to get to Japan and finds a sleeping Eun Gi. He finds all her work and helps her whilst she's sleeping. It's so sweet of him to do so that it makes me have a feeling that he likes her ><

But in the morning (damn, this guy didn't sleep! :O) he picks Eun Gi up and throws her into the lake which immediately wakes her up. This is so mean but funny in a way haha. He tells her she needs to pull everything together because they're going to kill them all :D So it's now team Eun Gi-Maru VS Jae Hee!

So after moments of face-to-face talking between Eun Gi and Jae Hee, which includes a slap from Jae Hee, team Eun Gi-Maru wins as Maru asks Eun Gi to put him on the phone to the Chairman. He uncovers all of the lawsuits his company had and that's the end for the Chairman as he scuttles away. YAY. Meanwhile, Yoora (Jae Gil's girlfriend) takes advantage of Jae Gil's love for her to blame Choco for things she never did. But Jae Gil dumps Yoora when she says Choco stole jewelry from her because he knows for a fact that Choco never steals. FINALLY.

Maru meets up with Jae Hee since she wants to have a 10 minute talk with him. And he also has a date with Eun Gi. After the ten minutes, Jae Hee jumps into the water. Commiting suicide is so not an option here. But being the good guy, Maru jumps into the water to save her. Eun Gi on the other hand waits. But he doesn't show up. Then at night, when he suddenly remembers their date, he runs to the place and finds her there sleeping. Awwww, she waited the whole day.

She is woken up by Maru afterwards. He notices the makeup she put on. She also says that this is her first time wearing a dress. And then Maru kisses her.
